It is our great pleasure to welcome all through the updated website of Richmond Fellowship Nepal. We are honored to be the part of Richmond Fellowship Nepal (RFN) journey for the social welfare activities. All the success goes to all Richmond Family: Executive Board, General Members, Staff Members, Clients and all the general people related to Richmond Fellowship Nepal. The founder members as well as Ms Elly Janson from Richmond Fellowship Nepal, UK have contributed a major role to gain success till the years. Thank you all.
RFN is a Non- Governmental Organization (NGO) working in the area of mental health and preventing substance abuse and its treatment since 1996 A.D. Initially, RFN was established as a Drop -In Center (DIC) for male drug users. RFN has conducted a first of its kind of research on Women Substance Users. RFN promotes Bio-psychosocial Model introducing a “Peer Recovery Guidance” modality based on the “Therapeutic Community” (T.C.) approach since October 2001.
We would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my distinguish seniors and colleagues who contributed RFN immensely in various fronts.
In our 23 years of journey, RFN has received tremendous help from individuals, civil society organizations, and Government of Nepal. We would like to thank all the individuals and organizations for their kind support directly and indirectly. I also like to thank UNODC, UNDP, WHO, UNAIDS, FHI, Care Nepal and Save the Children for their support.
I wish all the Executive Board Members and staffs of Richmond Fellowship Nepal for their team spirit and work offering hands on the way to responding the burning issues of substance abuse, primary health care, HIV prevention and various training programs through establishing quality service in the country.
